This is the newest of my sports address lists and is being introduced here for 2008. Many of you collectors who take baseball collecting to the next level collect the signatures of players their favorite teams have drafted, and they played for them or other teams in the minor leagues, but never made it to the major leagues.

These lifetime minor league players were full of heart and love for the game and had their dreams of playing in the major leagues ahead of them, but it was not to be. These players never made it to the majors even for a "quick cup of coffee." How many high school and college ballplayers can even say that they were scouted by a major league team and played in the minor leagues whether one year or five years or ten.

The initial edition of the Minor League Baseball Players List will have over 1,400 names and addresses and 90% of the listings will also include the year they were drafted and the team who drafted them.

These are the players who rode the buses around the minor leagues and stayed in less than 5 star hotels. Playing fields weren't always up to major league standards and it was difficult for them to be at their best but one thing is sure. These are the ballplayers who played baseball For The Love Of The Game.

This is the largest compilation of minor league baseball addresses and I'll be adding to this list every year because I'm sure it will be one of my most popular sports address lists.
